I am a doctoral candidate in history at the University of the National Education Commission, Kraków (UKEN, Kraków). My research interests include the history of the Polish People’s Republic and, in particular, diplomacy, the Polish diaspora and the history of the Cold War. I am now preparing a doctoral dissertation on the restitution of monetary gold to Poland after the Second World War.

I graduated in history from the Jagiellonian University in 2020. The journals that have published my papers include Dzieje Najnowsze [Recent History], which is one of most prestigious academic historical journals in Poland. I was also vice-president of the Academic Association of History Students at my alma mater. I was awarded a scholarship for my research by the Minister of Science and Higher Education (2019), while my master’s thesis earned a distinction in a competition organised by the Institute of National Remembrance (2021). I was furthermore granted a Lanckoroński Foundation Scholarship for a one-month research trip to London in 2022 and spent time in 2023 at the London School of Economics and Political Science as a visiting research student in International History.
